I received a Siliskin bottle cover for my baby shower, but never used it. I wanted to so badly because it’s a lovely shade of pink and I thought the concept was so great…a silicone sleeve to protect glass bottles and provide some grip for the baby. My daughter never used a bottle so in a drawer it sits, until the next baby comes along.
So when Silikids sent me the tumbler to test, I jumped for joy. The glass is 6 ounces so it is a perfect size for little hands. The silicone has raised bumps on it, which allows a child to get a good grip. It will break if dropped so I had to watch Matilda very carefully. (She is only 16 months and her favorite pastime is throwing things on the floor.) When I gave her the glass 1/4 full of water, she looked at me and smiled. She knew she was getting something special because it didn’t have a lid or straw. She did well with it for being such a wee one. It is not an everyday drinking glass just yet, but I am looking forward to when she is older and can use it on a more regular basis.
